Asjai Lou might be an LA native, but her showbiz soul was forged on the bustling streets of NYC. Her father, Kenneth Crutchfield, was a renowned jazz musician on Broadway; her mother, Sharron Cannon, was an executive powerhouse in television and film; and her godfather, Jim Brubaker, former head of Universal Pictures. Talk about being born for the spotlight! Growing up on film sets such as I Like It Like That, Above the Rim, GIA, and The Devil's Advocate, her playground wasn't a sandbox—it was a world of cameras, stars, and backstage drama.
