This special performance offers attendees an opportunity to experience the intersection of contemporary jazz and historic architecture.

Event Details:

What: Yoni Kretzmer Trio Live Performance

Tenor saxophonist and composer Yoni Kretzmer, a Jerusalem-born artist now based in Brooklyn, is renowned for his contributions to the avant-garde jazz scene. With a career spanning performances in Tel Aviv's nu-music scene to leading ensembles in New York, Kretzmer's work is characterized by its emotional depth and innovative approach to jazz.

The concert will take place within the historic walls of Congregation Kol Israel, one of the few remaining tenement synagogues in the world. Attendees will have the chance to witness the synagogue's recent restoration efforts, including the unveiling of the newly restored 40 foot stained glass skylight. The event not only showcases musical artistry but also celebrates the rich architectural and cultural heritage of the synagogue.
