Due to the annual 4th of July fireworks display in the downtown waterfront district, there will be several road closures the public should be aware of.
Beginning at 5:00pm on 7/4/22, the following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic:
Beginning at 6:00pm on 7/4/22, the following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic:
Be advised that there will be NO PARKING ON ALL OF THE ABOVE LISTED ROADS BEGINNING AT 3:00PM on 7/4/22.

The above listed roads will be closed to vehicular traffic until approximately 11:00pm on 7/4/22. Residents who live in the affected area who are planning to travel during these times are advised to park their vehicles elsewhere as they will not be able to move their vehicles once the closures are in effect. Those not coming to enjoy the fireworks are advised to avoid the area due to the expected congestion on surrounding roads.
Festivities at the waterfront will begin at 7:00PM with fireworks at approximately 9:15PM! Come and enjoy the show!
***Please be advised that the following items are prohibited in the waterfront area for the duration of the event***
-Bags and Coolers
-The flying of personal drones or any type of unmanned aircraft or UAV

- Main Street from Buena Vista Avenue to the Hudson River
- Alexander Street from Main Street to Ashburton Avenue
- Dock Street and Wells Avenue west of River Street
- Nepperhan Street from Buena Vista Avenue to Warburton Avenue
Beginning at 6:00pm on 7/4/22, the following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic:
- Buena Vista Avenue from Main Street to Dock Street
- Dock Street in its entirety
Be advised that there will be NO PARKING ON ALL OF THE ABOVE LISTED ROADS BEGINNING AT 3:00PM on 7/4/22.
