New Rochelle: Armed Robbery of Gaming Console – Suspect Sought

On Thursday, November 19, 2020, at approximately 8:57 p.m. New Rochelle Police Officers responded to the vicinity of 112 Seventh Street on a report of a robbery at gun point.  The male victim reported to officers that the suspect had brandished a hand gun, and stole an Xbox game console from him, before fleeing on foot eastbound on Washington Ave. The victim and suspect had met at the incident location, where the victim was to sell an Xbox Series X (Game Console) to the suspect.  They had arranged to meet via an app called "Offer Up."

The suspect was described as a Black Male, 6'2" tall, heavy set, wearing black sweatshirt, white surgical mask, and carrying a Louis Vuitton messenger bag.

This incident is similar to a robbery reported to the NRPD on Sunday, November 15, 2020.  Anyone with information regarding these incidents is urged to call New Rochelle Police Department's General Investigations Unit at 914-654-2270.
