Compliance teams can check a new customer against sanctions lists, PEP data and the news in minutes, with no documents to collect, and keep watching that customer every day after onboarding.
NEW YORK - Nyenta -- Most KYC processes still begin the same way: ask the customer for a passport, wait for it to arrive, then have an analyst search one database after another. Beady AI has built its KYC automation service around a different starting point. A compliance officer enters a customer's name, and within minutes the platform returns what public records say about that person, including sanctions designations, political exposure, criminal records, press coverage and links to other companies.
A valid passport proves someone exists. It says nothing about whether they were sanctioned last week, face fraud charges abroad or sit behind a shell company, and those are the questions regulators ask about.
Each name is checked against the OFAC, EU, UN and UK HMT sanctions lists, PEP databases, international most-wanted lists and law enforcement watchlists, as well as more than 100,000 news and social media sources. A database of over 200 million companies and officers shows where a person holds directorships or ownership stakes, now or in the past.

A common name can return hundreds of hits. Beady AI compares identifiers, ownership links and source reliability to work out which results belong to the customer, and the company says this removes up to 95% of false positives. What is left is a single profile sorted by severity, with every item linked to the public record it came from.
The check does not stop at onboarding. With ongoing monitoring, every customer is rescreened daily, so if a client is sanctioned, charged or named in a damaging story months later, the compliance team hears about it within hours. Daily summaries can be sent to Telegram, and the service also flags fake social accounts impersonating customers, executives or brands.
The service is built for fintech and crypto companies, venture funds, law firms, iGaming operators, HR teams and financial institutions. Most accounts go live the same day. Details are available at https://beady.ai/kyc-automation/ .
