Resumaic's resume platform lets job seekers match a resume directly against a job posting surfacing missing keywords and skill gaps rather than relying on one generic resume for every application.
NEW YORK - Nyenta -- Resumaic, an online resume-building platform, is drawing attention to a shift in how job seekers are advised to approach applications: away from a single, generic resume sent to every opening, and toward a version adjusted for each specific job posting. The platform, available at Resumaic, includes a feature that compares a resume directly against a pasted job description and returns a matching score along with the gaps between the two.
Career guidance has increasingly moved away from the "one resume fits all" approach. A resume that lists every skill a candidate has ever used, in the same order, for every application, tends to bury the specific qualifications a given employer is actually looking for. Reviewers and the software many employers use to sort applications are working from the language of a specific job posting, not a candidate's full career history, so a resume that doesn't reflect that posting's terms can be harder to place correctly, even when the underlying experience is a genuine match.

Resumaic's job-description matching feature is built around that comparison. A user pastes the text of a job posting, and the tool analyzes it against their resume for overlapping and missing keywords, producing a skills-and-experience gap report and a checklist of specific changes to consider. This sits alongside a separate content analyzer, which reviews resume text for grammar, tone, and generic or cliched phrasing, and a resume checker that returns a structured report on formatting, section structure, and keyword usage. Paid plans add an ATS-compatibility check as part of the same workflow.
The underlying resume builder includes a library of templates, more than 20 available resume sections spanning standard categories like experience and education alongside options such as certifications, projects, and publications and a free tier that allows building and downloading a limited number of resumes before a paid plan is required for expanded use.
