For generations, The Plaza has been the setting for unforgettable moments, from grand celebrations and celebrity weddings to scenes from beloved films. Its storied history includes Truman Capote's legendary Black and White Ball and memorable appearances in films such as Home Alone 2, The Great Gatsby, and Bride Wars.

Over the past three years, Wild Tomorrow has been proud to host its annual gala in the hotel's iconic Grand Ballroom, bringing together supporters, philanthropists, and conservation advocates to raise vital funds for wildlife and the wild spaces they depend on. As one of the many organizations to have celebrated at The Plaza, Wild Tomorrow hopes to make its 2026 gala an especially meaningful evening.

With the hotel's planned 4-year restoration closure approaching, this year's gala offers guests an opportunity to experience one of the last black-tie evenings at this celebrated New York City landmark while making a lasting difference for wildlife conservation. Guests are encouraged to reserve their tickets now to be part of this special occasion.

All funds raised will support Wild Tomorrow's conservation work in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, helping protect vital habitats, safeguard threatened and endangered species, and support local communities working alongside wildlife.

As Wild Tomorrow prepares for this milestone evening, guests have an opportunity to celebrate at The Plaza one more time while helping create a wilder tomorrow for generations to come.
